As a church family, we want to continue coming before God together. In this season of transition and pastoral search, we seek God’s wisdom, direction, and movement among us. On Thursday, March 26, we invite you to intentionally create space to pray for our church and for the search for a new pastor.
We’ve created several ways for you to participate:
1) Intentionally set aside time to pray. Sign up for a specific 30-minute time slot to pray by clicking HERE. Our hope is to cover the day in prayer from 6:00am–9:00pm.
If a time slot is already full, that’s okay—please still mark it in your calendar and be intentional about praying during that time. The goal is for us to be united and intentional in prayer.
Scroll down to find prayer prompts and a simple prayer guide to help you.
2) Consider Fasting. Fasting can look different for each person. For example:
Skipping a meal or fasting for the day and using that time to pray instead—wherever you are.
Everyone has different needs. If you have medical or nourishment requirements, or if you need to start small, consider fasting from just one meal or shifting to simple meals or soups for the day and using that time for prayer.
Fasting from social media or your phone and using that time to pray instead.
“People do not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God” (Matthew 4:4).
As we fast, we let our hunger remind us that just as our bodies need food, we also need God’s guidance and provision.
3) Join us for a time of Prayer & Worship.
On Thursday, March 26 at 7:00pm, we will gather for a time of worship and prayer as a church family. There is power in coming together to seek God together.
