Lighthouse: Pre-school to Grade 5
Our kids start Sundays together with their families in the 10 AM service. They head out after a time of worship and come together as “Lighthouse” in our “Mission”, “Kingdom”, “Soaking” and “Love Light” rooms. Lighthouse uses games, music, stories, drama, cooking, crafts, videos, science, soaking (prayer) and object lessons to turn learning about God into a chance to encounter Him. In small groups kids explore who God, Jesus and Holy Spirit are, how important and loved they are by their Father God and what it looks like to have a relationship with Him. The last Sunday of every month we all meet together in the “Mission Room” to worship with our Lighthouse band and share our learnings and growth from the month as a large group.

On Sunday Mornings and through the week at Calvary there are opportunities for children to build community and deepen their relationship with God, Jesus and Holy Spirit.

Junior Youth: Grades 6,7 & 8
There are a few different opportunities for Jr. Youth at Calvary! Each week at Lighthouse, Jr. Youth gather together to learn about God and grow in their relationship with Him. There is also a special leadership development element (“Meant for More”) which includes both learning and practical opportunities to serve and lead. In addition to Sunday mornings, there are also monthly fun activities planned for Jr.Youth. Check out the typical schedule below!
Other Opportunities
Periodically throughout the year we have events and intentional times for our children to build community and continue to learn and grow together. See our Events Page for upcoming opportunities! Look for things like:

Light In The Park - A drop in ministry, occurring periodically on Saturday afternoons in local parks, to share the good news - Jesus - through healthy relationships with kids and families.

Break Away Days - These days are free and run on PD Days from 8:30AM - 5PM. Children grades 1-8 are welcome to register for a jam packed day filled with games, worship, outdoor fun and cool community time.

Pajama Breakfasts - Sunday 8AM breakfast, fun, worship and community!

Jesus Birthday Party! - A fun way to celebrate Christmas and invite your friends. This party is usually held the first Sunday in December.
