Matthew 22:1-14 The Parable of the Wedding Feast
Jesus coming to encounter us at Christmas is the picture for every time that Jesus meets and works in you and me. You and I have been invited to a feast: encounters with Jesus. In fact this devotional series is capturing many peoples' encounters with Jesus - their times of feasting with him.
As you read Matthew 22:1-14, first think about how Jeus has met you and is meeting you because you heard his invitation to come to his feast. Then as you read, see yourself as one of his servants sent to the highways and byways to make sure that no one misses out. Not everyone will accept the invitation but we have a feast to offer and you yourself have a feast that you have tasted and can tell them about.
