In 2001 Marianne Leach Hoffer heard the call to ministry. After graduating in Music from the University of Western Ontario, where she studied voice, she worked with a number of major arts organizations including the K-W Symphony and Orchestra London for 17 years where she held senior positions in administration. Her duties included programming and volunteer management but she knew that these skills God was calling her to use in His work. After the discernment process with her home congregation, Glen Allan-Drayton Pastoral charge of Waterloo Presbytery, she entered the Lay Pastoral Minister in Training programme through the United Theological College of McGill University. Marianne has completed 2 of this 3 year programme. For the last 2 years Marianne served as Pastor of the Conn-Cedarville Pastoral charge of Bruce Presbytery. Marianne pastored this community while they went through the process of closure. Marianne is also currently a part time M.Div studies at Queens Theological Seminary.
Marianne lives on the banks of the Conestoga River in Glen Allan. She shares her 150 year old farm with 6 cats, 3 dogs, 2 horses and 1 husband. Marianne and Chris are the parents of two daughters Jilianne and Jennifer.
