WHAT IS CONFIRMATION?
Well confirmation class is a group of high school age kids who want to look at what the Christian Faith believes. Many of us were baptized as little babies and don’t remember our start in the Christian faith. Your parents made some vows to bring you up to learn about Christianity. Or maybe you haven’t been baptized but still want to learn more about what it means to be a Christian. Confirmation is when you get to decide for yourself what you believe!
Deciding for yourself is what confirmation class is all about. We try to help you figure out what you believe, and answer some of your questions about God and Christianity. The classes are fun (sometimes crazy fun) with lots of time for discussion, getting to know each other, honesty, a chance to try new churches, a chance to check out what “missions” are, do a sleep-over and maybe a retreat.
